- Sundays, February 2nd + 9th, 2-5pm
- Sundays, March 29th + April 5th, 2-5pm
Music Production, offered in the Media Lab at AS220 Industries, is where participants can create their own original songs, regardless of experience with music-making. In this class, songs will emerge through the process of learning the elements of music, song arrangement, editing, and mastering through the Mac software Logic Pro X.
This workshop is split into two sessions. The first will focus on the production software and will explore genre, basic music theory, and arrangement. The second session is focused on editing, mixing, and mastering. This workshop will feel like an open paint night, with a common prompt for everyone, to accommodate both experienced musicians with specific goals as well as those interested in simply learning something new. Participants can expect to walk away from this class with an mp3 of their own original music!
