SketchUP for Artists
Learn the basics of 3D modeling in SketchUp
- Wednesdays, November 2nd, 9th and 16th, 7-8pm
This class introduces participants to basic 3D modeling in the unique environment of SketchUp, what makes SketchUp different from other modeling programs, and use of both basic 3d drawing tools as well as the clone, push/pull, follow-me, grouping and Component tools. Sessions will start with exercises to build simple shapes to exact dimensions and angles, use of "snapping," and will include basic model styling. No SketchUp experience necessary, but please bring a 2-button mouse with a scroll wheel if you have one.
