Talking to Strangers: Interview Techniques

  • 5000

Make friends and explore different techniques and best practices for
podcast interviews!

Wednesday March 27, 6-9pm

Every podcast interview has different challenges. Sometimes, the person you're interviewing is nervous or defensive. Other times, they might have overprerpared, and you'd like them to slow down and be more natural. And still other times, they may want to jump the rails altogether and talk about something completely off-topic.

In this class, we will talk about different approaches to making an interview-based podcast, and challenges and questions that can arise along the way. The instructor, Jacob Haller of the Tell Me About Your Song podcast, will share his experiences and organize the discussion, but you are encouraged to share your own experiences and stories.

This class is recommended to people who already have started a podcast, or who are well on their way to starting one.

Instructor: Jacob Haller
