4 Week Pilates Workshop

This mat class will focus on core strength, quality, flow and efficiency of
movement, breath, spinal and pelvic alignment. In addition to Pilates exercises, conditioning and stretching are incorporated to gain long, lean muscles and flexibility. Pilates mat is a challenging yet safe method to sculpt your body and to feel increased agility in your everyday movements.

This 4 week class will occur every Tuesday from 12pm-1pm, beginning June 5th and ending June 26th. Class will happen in the third floor dance studio at our 95 Empire St location. This class is only available through pre-registration online or in person on the first day. The cost of the class is $48 for all four sessions.

Amy Maria Burns graduated magna cum laude from Adelphi University with a BFA in dance. Amy is a freelance teacher working most recently at Brown University and the Hanover Conservatory for the Performing Arts. She is currently on faculty at Dean College, Dancing Arts Center, and is a Balanced Body certified Pilates
instructor since 2014.
